DSU and Sweden Universities Present Finding of AI Partnership

A group of students from Dakota State University and universities in Sweden presented their experiences and findings last week, after participating in the third year of the AI Sweden partnership.

The program lasts 10 weeks starting at the end of May 2024, with time split between the AI Sweden’s facilities in Gothenburg, and the Madison Cyber Labs at DSU.

DSU graduate student Nicholas Gourley presented his team’s findings, Researching and analyzing threats in AI training scheduling software. The project involved the study of software container escape techniques to prevent unauthorized users getting access to confidential information or secure processing environments.

Gourley says diving into unfamiliar territory is a key takeaway for future students to learn.
