DownTown in MadTown returns to Madison this summer

The summer concert series and family fun night, DownTown in MadTown, is returning to Madison this summer.  The Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce and Lake Area Improvement Corporation say DownTown in MadTown will be held again in the 100-block of North Egan Avenue beginning on July 20th.  The event will again consist of six total family friendly entertainment nights, two in July and four in August.  The August 3rd event will also be National Night Out and an additional block of Egan Avenue will be closed to accommodate the joint event.  

Each week of DownTown in MadTown will start at 6:00 p.m. and go until 9:00 p.m. and will feature a band, food vendors, shopping options, and kids’ activities.

A listing of the dates and the bands scheduled to perform during this year’s DownTown in MadTown events:

• July 27^th – Joey Leone’s Chop Shop
• August 3^rd – Devon Worley Band
• August 10^th – Just Duet
• August 17^th – Mickey Utley Band
• August 24^th – BonJourney
