Down Town in Mad Town Canceled

The last Downtown in Madtown event of the summer will be canceled tonight due to the excessive heat warning that started yesterday and will continue through tomorrow night. Temperatures are expected to hit triple digits.  In a statement, the Chamber says that after speaking with local authorities, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers the decision has been made to CANCEL DownTown in MadTown with Lizzy Hofer scheduled for tonight due to the extreme heat.
