Dine Out to Donate next week to benefit IAUW

The Interlakes Area United Way is again offering a tasty way for people to help raise money for the organization and the agencies it supports.  

Next week, the Interlakes Area United Way is holding it’s Dine Out to Donate fundraising event.  Fifteen eating establishments in Lake, Miner, and Moody counties will host the Dine Out to Donate event on Wednesday, October 6th.  The participating businesses will donate a portion of the day’s sales to the United Way, which provides financial support to non-profit community service agencies and programs in the three-county region.

In keeping with COVID-19 safety measures, patrons may also purchase gift cards from the businesses during the event in order to donate now and dine out later.

Some businesses will also have United Way donation boxes available for direct contributions.

The Interlakes Area United Way awarded more than 107-thousand dollars in grant funding to 27 non-profit partners in 2021.
