Crooks man injured in motorcycle crash
A Crooks man was injured in a motorcycle crash south of Madison on Saturday morning. The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports that 32-year-old Joshua Larson of Crooks was driving a 2007 motorcycle south on Highway 19 Saturday morning just before 9:15 when he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The accident happened about ten miles southwest of Chester. The Highway Patrol says Larson received serious, non-life threatening injuries and was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital. He was not wearing a helmet and charges are pending.
Accident information is preliminary at this time as the Highway Patrol continues it’s investigation.
