COVID-19 cases in SD increase by 97 Monday; active cases also increase

Close to one-hundred new cases of COVID-19 are being reported Monday by the state Department of Health.  That brings the state’s overall total number of cases to 3614.  The number of active cases in the state Monday has also increased to close to 14-hundred, with 78 people currently hospitalized because of COVID-19.

No new deaths are being reported Monday.  So far, 34 people in the state have died from COVID-19.

Lake County still currently has one active case and has 169 negative tests.  There have been five total cases in Lake County, with four of them recovered.  Moody County currently has nine active COVID-19 cases.
