Lake County offices are closed today for Native American Day, but Lake County Commissioners will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday.

On the agenda for county commissioners at 9:10 tomorrow morning is a time for public comments and the second reading of an ordinance establishing a speed zone on a portion of 241st Street near Chester.  Commissioners will also meet with Buildings & Grounds Superintendent Dave Hare for his department’s quarterly report, and to also discuss bathroom remodeling and carpet at the Extension Office. They will also meet with Sheriff Tim Walburg to discuss personnel, and at 9:30 Tuesday, commissioners meet with Rick Trapp of the Lakes Bar and Grill for a hearing on alcoholic beverage license transfer applications.

Emergency Manager Kody Keefer is scheduled to give his office’s quarterly report to county commissioners on Tuesday, and Welfare Manager Mandi Anderson will have several indigent applications for commissioners’ consideration.  At 10:00, Anderson will meet with the commission as the county’s Zoning Officer and will discuss a conditional use permit, variance, and plat.

Treasurer Deb Walburg will meet with commissioners regarding a resolution on unclaimed property, and County Health Nurse Office Manager Laura Olson will present her office’s quarterly report.

These appointments and several other business items make up the agenda for the Lake County Commission’s meeting Tuesday.  The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
