County commission approves permits for Stemper Auto Body, Lewis & Clark Regional Water System

The Lake County Commission approved a few conditional use permits also during its meeting on Tuesday. Acting as a Board of Adjustment, the commission approved a conditional use for Pete and Jean Stemper to expand their current auto body repair shop, located on 456th Avenue. The Stempers are planning to build a mechanical repair and calibration shop to the north of their current auto body shop.
Also approved was a conditional use permit for the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System. Lewis and Clark wants to build an essential public utility service structure, elevated tank and related equipment on a site in Lakeview Township, near the intersection of 234th Street and 459th Avenue.
