County approves new retail malt beverage license application for Chester business
A Chester business has been approved for a retail malt beverage license. The Lake County Commission Tuesday approved a new retail (on-off sale) malt beverage and farm wine license for 605 Meats of Chester. Â
This new license now brings the total number of malt beverage licenses in the county to ten. Commissioners Tuesday also approved the annual renewal of the ten licenses for the next year. County Auditor Paula Barrick said that the Sheriff’s Office has not had any issues with any of the establishments. She said that one of the license holders had not paid its first half of its taxes, but once that is completed, then she can send that one also to the state.
