County approves agreement for jail’s commissary services

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Jail will be utilizing a different company for its commissary services for the jail.  Sheriff Sarina Talich told Lake County Commissioners Tuesday that she hasn’t been happy with the services provided by the current company they are with, so she wants to go with a different one. She presented an agreement with TurnKey Corrections of Wisconsin to commissioners on Tuesday.  

Talich explained to commissioners some of the different services that TurnKey Corrections would provide.

Talich said that TurnKey would also handle any inmate concerns with its services, so the Sheriff’s Office wouldn’t have to handle those.  

She said that this would not change the jail’s agreement with Reliance Telephone, who currently handles the phone services for the jail inmates.
