The Madison City Commission is moving forward with plans to develop an Employee Climate Survey for the city’s employees.  Commissioner Adam Shaw said during the commission’s meeting on Monday that he feels this is something that is needed for city employees.

Shaw said that the survey could be done in electronic or paper format.  He said the survey could help the city move forward.

Shaw said he’d like to have the commissioners and Mayor go through the surveys first before beginning the process of determining what the city may want to do.  He said once the employee surveys are compiled then the city could move forward with community needs and long range planning surveys and plans as well.
