The city of Madison is currently in a snow alert.  The snow alert went into effect at 2:00 Monday morning.  There is no parking on city streets or in city parking lots until the snow has stopped and the roads have been cleared from curb to curb.  Vehicles will be subject to ticketing and towing if they are left on the street.  

Several area schools have also made adjustments to their schedules for Monday because of the weather.

Madison Central School District cancelled in-person school Monday at Madison Central, Madison Christian, and St. Thomas Schools.  Madison Central School is having a remote learning day, starting at 9:15 Monday morning.  Principals are following up with students and parents with more information.

Dakota State University in Madison has cancelled classes.  DSU offices will be physically closed. DSU classes will resume and offices will re-open on Tuesday.
