City moving forward with next phases of water system improvement projects
The City of Madison is preparing for its next phase of water system improvements as part of its Rural Development projects. City commissioners on Monday approved the advertisement for bids for this year’s projects. City Engineer Chad Comes told commissioners where the next three phases of the projects will be located.
The city will receive sealed bids for each of the three projects, so Comes said there is the potential for three different contractors to be awarded. Commissioners set the bid date for April 22nd. Their approval of the advertisement for bids is also contingent upon Rural Development approval.
