City commissioner encourages mask use; School Board holding meeting to discuss Back to School plan

As the number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to increase in Lake County, a Madison City Commissioner is extending a plea for people to wear masks whenever possible.  Commissioner Adam Shaw, who also serves as the principal at Madison High School, said during Monday’s commission meeting that it’s one way to help stop the spread of the virus and hopefully give school children a chance to go back to school this fall.

The Madison Central School Board is holding a special meeting today to discuss the school district’s Back to School Plan.  The meeting starts at 5:30 in the Madison High School gym.
