The Madison City Commission is holding its regular weekly meeting today.  The commission is scheduled to hold first reading on ordinances regarding water rates, electric rates and charges, wastewater user rates, and restricted use site fees.  Commissioners will also adopt a resolution regarding the powers and duties of the Mayor and commissioners, and authorize the Mayor to sign an engagement proposal with CMG Consulting for Advanced Metering Infrastructure analysis.  The commission is also scheduled to authorize the purchase of a garbage packer and stump cutter.

Lake Area Improvement Corporation Executive Director Eric Fosheim and Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Eric Hortness will both meet with city commissioners regarding a Downtown Master Plan.  Deb Reinicke, a board member for the Domestic Violence Network, will meet with commissioners requesting a building permit fee waiver, and commissioners will also acknowledge a petition for the vacation of a portion of Northeast 8th Street.  

The Madison City Commission meets today starting at 5:30 in the commission room in Madison City Hall.
