City Commission talks on Road Construction Updates

One of the major topics of discussion at Monday’s City Commission meeting was the Road Construction of many of the roads and infrastructure projects around the city, mainly the surrounding construction project around the Elementary School, and why the project has been delayed. Director of Engineering and Community Development Ryan Hegg spoke on some of the Delays.

 

 

Hegg also says they’ve been facing some issues with the construction company, adding that certain aspects aren’t up to snuff.

 

 

Commissioner Adam Shaw spoke on some of the frustrations that the commission has had with the slow progress, especially with the start of the school year. 

 

 

No Representative from Winter Contracting was present at the meeting. The Next Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday in observance of Labor Day  September 5th at 5:30 PM in the Commission Room
