City commission hears concerns with mobile home park

A Madison resident appeared before the Madison City Commission during its meeting Monday to express concerns with nuisances and building code issues within Woodbury Estates’ manufactured home park on Northwest 9th Street in Madison.

Michael Johnson, who lives near the Park, told commissioners that there are several issues within it.

Johnson said that the mobile home park also has problems with the storage sheds located there, along with animals.

Johnson provided commissioners with several definitions of nuisances and city ordinances that he said are being violated in the park.  He also said that many of the mobile homes located there are getting too old.

Johnson said that his complaint regarding the situation within Woodbury Estates is one that the city has known about and that he would like to see something done about it.Â
