City commission appoints members to Madison Housing & Redevelopment Commission board

The Madison City Commission approved appointments to the board of the Madison Housing and Redevelopment Commission during its meeting on Monday.  City Administrator Jameson Berreth said that the city had neglected to make the necessary appointments in recent years, so now was taking care of that.

Appointments to the Madison Housing and Redevelopment Commission approved by city commissioners Monday include: Karin Mathison (one-year term); Steven Sims (two-year term); Tim Walburg (three-year term); Scott Johnson (four-year term); and Rosee Hansen (five-year term). 

Also during their meeting Monday, commissioners approved a new position for the city.  Berreth said that this will be an Administrative Assistant position within the city’s Utilities Department.  He said that this new position will help relieve some of the workload within the department.
