City Commission Amends Ordnance for new Dollar General

The Madison City Commission met on Monday night. Some items they discussed were amending the Code of Ordinances to change the zoning of the zoning district from Single Family Residence, 9,000 Square Foot District (R-90) to Highway Business Zone (HB). The lots affected are Lot 1 Schladweiler (Sh-lad-whiler) Addition in the SW1/4 of Section 1. This Amendment was brought forth for a proposed Dollar General that is to be built in Madison.
 The next Madison City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 5:30 PM at Madison City Hall in the Commission Room.
