City Commission Agenda

The Madison City Commission will meet this evening and will consider approving an agreement with KLJ Engineering for an Egan Avenue reconstruction project. The final design for the project is expected to be submitted by January or February of next year, with bidding to be held in March. The project would be for Egan Avenue, from 2nd street north to 9th street north.Â
Also on the agenda for today’s meeting are a number of items related to the construction of the new City Administration Building, at 505 South Hyland Avenue. Commissioners tonight will approve a time line for the project, which includes demolition of the current building on August 31st, with Journey Group taking over the site for construction on September 11th.Â
The meeting tonight will also include an update on the Water System Improvement Project, and a discussion and overview of the Nuisance Hearing process. Tonight’s meeting begins at 5:30 in the Commission Room, at Madison City Hall.
