City Budget Overview

Madison City Commissioners spoke on the budget overview for 2024 at their special meeting.  

The largest fund within the city’s budget is the Electric Fund, with total appropriations and accumulations for 2024 of just more than twelve point one million dollars.  The next largest is the city’s Water Fund, with just more than one point six million dollars in operating costs for next year, and then the city’s sewer fund at $938,727 in operating costs
