City approves alcoholic beverage license renewals

The Madison City Commission on Monday approved the alcoholic beverage license renewal applications for city establishments.  City Finance Officer Jennifer Eimers told commissioners that there are seventeen Retail (On-Off Sale) Malt Beverage and South Dakota Farm Wine licenses up for renewal for the next year.  She said that all of the city’s current licenses were included in the renewals for commissioners on Monday, with the exception of the one for CJ Shafer, LLC for the Thue Park concession stand.

Mayor Marshall Dennert said that he had talked with Madison Police Chief Justin Meyer and said he didn’t have any concerns with any of the licenses.
