The Madison City Commission approved the renewal of the city’s liquor and wine licenses for 2020.  During their meeting Monday, commissioners approved the renewal of 23 alcoholic beverage licenses. City Finance Officer Jennifer Eimers told commissioners that the city currently has six package liquor license holders, ten retail liquor license holders, and seven retail wine license holders.  She said there were no issues with any of the businesses, and Commissioner Mike Waldner said also that law enforcement did not have any problems with any of them.

Earlier in their meeting last night, commissioners also approved the transfer of a package (off-sale) liquor license for Randy Gruenwald to his business, Dakota Butcher Madison Incorporated.
