Christiansen paints the town of Madison with snowman cheer

A Madison artist has brought her talent to many windows throughout Madison.  

Angie Christiansen is an artist with the annual storefront  window contest sponsored by the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.  The common theme was snowmen in the window displays, with community members then voting on their favorite displays.  

Christiansen has been painting since she was a child and turned her passion into a business in her late teens. Painting is now her side business, as people hire her to paint murals on everything from window storefronts, walls in homes, grain bins, furniture, signs and canvas. Christiansen says she has been painting in Madison for three decades. 

Christiansen works as a NorthWestern Energy Community Relations Specialist, based in Madison.
