Candidates set for Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board election in April
The slate of candidates has been established for both the Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board elections. As of Friday’s filing deadline, six candidates had filed nominating petitions for the election of two seats open on the Madison City Commission, while four candidates had filed for the election of two seats open on the Madison Central School Board. Â
Candidates in the Madison City Commission election scheduled for April 14th are: incumbent commissioners Jeremiah Corbin and Kelly Johnson, along with challengers Adam Shaw, Patrick Mullen, Jerae Wire, and Jenny Wolff. Madison City Commissioners serve three-year terms.Â
The four candidates who will be on the ballot in the Madison Central School Board are: incumbent board member Rob Honomichl, along with Richard Avery, Robert Bergstrom, and Eric Hortness. Two seats are open on the Madison Central School Board this year. School board members also serve three-year terms.
The joint Madison City and Madison Central School Board election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th, with voting to take place at the downtown Madison City Armory.Â
