Bethel Lutheran Home Foundation accepting donations for COVID-19 Response Fund

The Bethel Lutheran Home Foundation is participating in the COVID-19 Response Fund global giving event called GivingTuesdayNow to help raise funds for the Bethel Lutheran Community in Madison.  GivingTuesdayNow today is a worldwide effort for people to make a gift to organizations in their communities to provide relief from unforeseen costs because of COVID-19.

GivingTuesdayNow funds can help the Bethel Lutheran Community with supplies required for additional infection control.  This includes things like staff personal protective equipment (or PPE), additional specialized equipment such as high intensity oxygen concentrators, and technology to support virtual diagnostic care and family communication for residents.

The Bethel Lutheran Home Foundation has received gifts of donated face masks and PPE gowns from individuals, organizations, and area churches.  They have also received support for staff meals, flowers, and notes to residents and staff from elementary school children, families and area businesses.  The Foundation appreciates all of the support it has received during this time.

GivingTuesdayNow provides an opportunity for people to make donations online or through the mail, which will then be matched by national non-profit organization partners to help defray the additional costs created by COVID-19 by the Bethel Community.

Donations to support the Bethel Community as part of GivingTuesdayNow can be made throughout this week either online or by mail.
