Back to School update

It’s back to school time in South Dakota, and Shawn Steward of AAA says it is important for drivers to get back into their back to school driving habits.

 

He says drivers need to remember to follow the rules regarding school buses.

Steward says it is important for parents to be careful when they drop off their kids.

He says parents whose kids walk to school should also go over pedestrian safety with them.

 

With Summer coming to an end across South Dakota many area schools are planning on getting kids back to their desks next week. Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District as well as classes for DSU start on Monday August 21st. 

 

Madison Central, Colman, West Central, and Flandreau all starting on Tuesday August 22nd. 

 

And lastly Dell Rapids starting at the end of the week on friday August 25th
