Back to school time for area schools

Summer is coming to an end this week for most area students as they head back to school for the 2021-22 school year.  

Today is the first day of school for students in the Oldham-Ramona and Tri-Valley school districts, while Colman-Egan, McCook Central, Montrose, and Arlington students head back tomorrow.  Howard and Baltic Schools start classes on Wednesday, and there are several schools starting on Thursday, including Madison, Chester, Flandreau, West Central and Dell Rapids St. Mary.

Next week marks the first day of classes for the fall for Rutland, Sioux Valley, and Dell Rapids students, as well as for college students at Dakota State University in Madison.
