While COVID-19 infections in the state continue to rise, hospitals are not yet seeing a large increase in patients.

State Epidemiologist Dr Josh Clayton says there is a lag time from infection to hospitalization.

Clayton says hospital usage is low right now.

Clayton says the state Health Department has added more people to their contact tracing team.

Over fifteen-hundred new infections have been reported in the state in the past week and there are now just less than three-thousand active cases.
