Area Graduating Seniors Awarded Scholarships from Sioux Valley Energy

Sioux Valley Energy has awarded 43 graduating high school seniors with a total of $23,500 in scholarships this year. The majority of scholarship funds came from Sioux Valley Energy’s Operation Round Up program, with additional funds from Basin Electric Power Cooperative, L&O Power Cooperative, and the Rodney Park Memorial Powerline Scholarship. More than 110 young people applied for the scholarships.

Area students receiving scholarships include: Rachel Lindholm of Chester Area, Kadance Landis of Colman-Egan, Paige Hanson of Oldham-Ramona, Lisa Koopman,  Ledger Burggraff, and Mya Dissing of Tri-Valley, as well as Evelyn Graham and Ashlyn Strom of Madison.
