Another new positive COVID-19 case reported in Lake County Monday

Another positive COVID-19 case has been reported in Lake County Monday.  This brings the total number of positive cases in Lake County to 21.  Sixteen of those cases have been reported as recovered and one person has died, putting the number of active COVID-19 cases in the county now at four.  There have  been 664 negative tests in Lake County, and three people have ever been hospitalized.  

Overall, the state reports 35 new positive coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the state’s overall total to more than 67-hundred.  Of those cases, 807 are reported as active, which is down from Sunday’s information.  The number of hospitalizations is also down from Sunday to 70, and there are no new deaths reported.  So far, 91 people in the state have died from COVID-19.

Elsewhere in our area, Miner County remains at six active COVID-19 cases Monday, Kingsbury and McCook counties each have three, and Moody County has two active cases at this time.  Brookings County currently has 14 active COVID-19 cases.
