Lake County had three more residents reported as recovered from COVID-19 in information provided by the state Department of Health Wednesday.  Of the 18 total positive COVID-19 cases in the county, there are 15 reported as recovered Wednesday and there has been one death, putting the number of active cases in Lake County currently at two.  There have been 631 negative tests in the county.

Another Minnehaha County resident has died from COVID-19, putting the state’s total number of deaths at 84.  The state reports an additional 66 positive coronavirus cases Wednesday for an overall total of 6419.  Of those, there are 781 cases active currently, and 81 people are hospitalized.  

In our area, Brookings County continues to have 16 active COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday, and Kingsbury and Miner County each have three active cases.  Moody County has two active, and McCook County has one active COVID-19 case at this time.
