The state Department of Health reports Tuesday another 48 new positive COVID-19 cases in the state, putting the state’s total at 6764. The number of active cases decreased from Monday to 801 Tuesday, and also the number of people currently hospitalized decreased to 62. There are no new deaths from COVID-19 reported Tuesday, so the total number remains at 91.
In Tuesday’s information from the state Department of Health, Lake County continues to have four active cases of COVID-19. Overall, the county has had 21 positive cases, with sixteen of them recovered and one death. There have been 667 negative tests reported in Lake County.
As of Tuesday, Miner County has five active COVID-19 cases, McCook and Moody counties each have three, and Kingsbury County has one active coronavirus case.
Brookings County had one more positive case reported Tuesday and now has fifteen active COVID-19 cases.
