Another 40 positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in the state Monday by the state Department of Health, putting South Dakota’s total number of coronavirus cases to 4027.  Monday’s data indicated that 60 people had recovered from the virus, and the total number of active cases statewide is at just less than 12-hundred.  77 people are currently hospitalized because of COVID-19 and 44 people have died.

In our area, Lake County continues to have one active case at this time and 190 negative tests.  McCook County also has one active case, and Moody County currently has 8 active COVID-19 cases.
