37 new positive COVID-19 cases reported in SD Monday

The number of active positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased a little Monday compared to Sunday.  Information provided by the state Department of Health indicates that currently there are 817 active cases, compared to 811 Sunday.  The state reports thirty-seven new positive COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the state’s overall total to 2668.  There are currently 69 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and there have been 21 deaths. 

Lake County continues to have one active positive case at this time, with 145 negative tests.  Moody County currently has four active positive cases.
