12-5-23 County Commission Meeting

The Lake County Commission held their meeting yesterday some of the topics they discussed were approving an agreement with SDSU Extension and considered a request for liability waivers for 4-H which Administrative Officer Shelli Gust spoke more on 

County Auditor Paula Barrick gave an annual report on 2022.

There was also some discussion about conditional use 23-12 which would involve building multi unit condominiums with storage spaces. Some of the citizens had concerns about the project mainly that the building wouldn’t fit with the neighborhood, road maintenance, parking traffic, and water drainage. Ultimately the conditional use was approved as all the requirements were met and all the fees and taxes were paid. 

The next Lake County Commission meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 19th at 9:00 AM in the Commission room in the Lake County Courthouse.
