11-21-23 Lake County Commission Meeting

The Lake County Commission meeting was held yesterday. Brooke Rollag, the Executive Director of the Lake Area Improvement Corporation appeared before the Commission with a request from the LAIC for a contribution of around $10,000 for Washington Ave/ 455th Ave. project.

The Commission decided to postpone their discussion on the matter regarding giving funds based on the facts that not all commissioners were present at the meeting and they believed the topic needed more discussion.

They also held an auction for the Land Lease of the Lake County Poor Farm which went to Cody Brown in the amount of $21,000 annually, they also approved the applications for 3 Bridge Improvement Grants to potentially help in repairing and maintaining bridges around the county if approved

The next Lake County Commission Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at 9:00 AM in the Commission room in the Lake County Courthouse.
