11-21-23 Lake County Agenda

Lake County Commissioners will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday morning. Commissioners will consider a resolution, amending the 2023 Tax Levy. Commissioners will also approve an occupancy for underground construction for Carper Ag LLC, and hold a public hearing on a temporary special On-Sale liquor application from Hef’s Bar & Grill in Chester. 

Appointments for the county included Brooke Rollang from the Lake Area Improvement Corporation, regarding the LAIC’s request for contribution to Washington Avenue/455th avenue improvements. 

Sheriff Sarina Talich will meet with commissioners about the Law Enforcement Support Office  Program, & State Plan of Operation. At 9:30 there will be a public auction for a land lease, for the former Lake County Poor Farm. 

Tuesday’s Commission meeting begins at 9am at the Lake County Courthouse.
