Seven new positive COVID-19 cases have been reported by the state Department of Health today, bringing the total to 108.  One of those includes a new positive case in our area in Kingsbury County. Positive COVID-19 cases are now being reported in 30 counties in South Dakota, and community spread has been identified in half of those counties, according to the state Department of Health.

Minnehaha County has the highest number of positive cases, now at 31.  

The state is reporting that of the 108 positive cases, there has still been one death, but there are twelve people who are currently hospitalized and 44 who have recovered from the virus.
