1-2-24 County Commission Meeting

The Lake County Commission held their first meeting of the new year Tuesday. They elected their Chair and Vice Chair for 2024. Commissioners re-elected Kelli Wollman to serve as Chair and Dennis Slaughter as Vice Chair for this year.

Also during Tuesday’s meeting the commission approved resolution 2024-01 regarding election workers and setting compensation for them. Another resolution that they approved was 2024-03 which requires the county auditor to be given the authority to pay claims without county approval as long as they are presented at the next meeting.

The commission also approved county employees’ salaries for 2024, along with the 2024 board appointments, department liaisons, and other appointments during Tuesday’s meeting.

They approved the times for future commission meetings and  the wage scale and the salary listings for the new year as well. 

The next Lake County Commission meeting will be held on January 16th at 9:00 AM in the county commission room at the Lake County Courthouse.
