Lady Bulldogs fall to SF Christian

Sioux Falls Christian had too much firepower for the Bulldogs to handle, as the Madison girls fell 70-40 on Friday night. The Lady Bulldogs stayed close in the first half, trailing 15-9 after the opening quarter, and by eight points late in the 2nd quarter. But the Chargers closed the half on a 7-0 run to take a 32-18 lead into the locker room.

Lauren Tims scored the first six points of the 2nd half, as the Chargers pushed their lead to over twenty points in the 3rd quarter, and put the game into running time in the 4th. Tims finished with a game high 18 points, Courtney Kellenberger added 15 for the Chargers.

Kendra Leighton led the Bulldogs with 12 points, Morgan Anderson and Victora Olson each chipped in 6. Madison fell to 3-12 on the season, while the Chargers are now 12-4. Madison will host Canton this afternoon at the Madison high school gym.
