Playing their third NSAA Men’s Tournament game on the road in five days, the DSU Men’s Basketball team came up just short versus Bellevue in the Championship game, 63-57. The Trojans held a five point advantage at halftime, but the Bruins opened up the second half on an 11-0 run and shortly after would use an 8-0 run to build a 56-42 lead. Dakota State’s comeback bid came up just short. Giarges Doaw had a game high 22 points to lead the Trojans, who finished with a 11-15 record on the year and made the NSAA Championship game for the fourth time in program history.
