Trojan Baseball got their season underway over the weekend at McPherson, Kansas. The host Bulldogs came away with a sweep on Saturday, winning the first game 11-0 and rallying for a 5-4 victory in game two. DSU was limited to one hit in the first game. Game two saw DSU jump out to a 4-0 advantage, getting a pair of  two-run home runs from Jace Prybil. McPherson scored one run in the fourth and four in the fifth to take the lead. Devin DeBoer took the loss on the mound for the Trojans, pitching four plus innings. 

Sunday’s scheduled doubleheader was cancelled, due to inclement weather. Dakota State Baseball is scheduled to return to action this upcoming weekend versus Briar Cliff, a location has yet to be determined.
