Seven DSU Trojans hit personal bests during the two-day 34th annual Ron Masanz Classic at Division II Minnesota State Moorhead and Masanz field. During the javelin throw, Skyler Pattison hit her personal best toss of 26.72 meters, which helped lead DSU into 21st place in the event. Jacia Christiansen passed her personal best in the 1500-meter race with a time of 5:16.73. Josie Wolf placed seventh with her personal best 12.58 seconds in the 100-meter dash. Kezley Yeager produced a career best in the 200-meter race with a time of 26.56 seconds. Jessica Giles finished the 400-meter hurdles at 1:06:37 to place fifth and receive a personal best time. Jennifer Giles finished in 12th with a personal best 2:22.90 in the 800 meter run. Shaylee DeBeer posted a triple jump personal best, leaping 10.61 meters. Dakota State will wrap up the regular season on Friday in Vermillion, SD.
