Presentation Ends DSU’s Volleyball Season in the NSAA Tournament

Yesterday, sixth-seeded Presentation outhit third-seeded Dakota State 56-42 to earn a 3-0 sweep in the quarterfinal round of the 2022 NSAA Women’s Volleyball Postseason Tournament.  

Each set was a hard fought set, but Presentation was able to outlast DSU in the three sets by scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-22.

Brooklyn Grage sparked the Trojans with 12 kills, while Sydney Schell added nine kills and 13 digs. 

Hannah Viet recorded eight kills and three blocks. Viet finished as the third all-time blocks with 365 blocks in DSU women’s volleyball program history.

Madayln Groft tallied 19 digs, 14 set assists, and six kills for Dakota State.  Maddi Langerock produced 18 set assists and 11 digs.  Peyton Groft collected 20 digs for DSU.  

She finished her stellar career as the all-time digs with 2,394 digs.

The Saints moved on to the semifinal round against No. 2 seed Bellevue in the second session at 5pm, with the winner moving on to the championship match on Saturday at 2pm.

The loss for DSU ended their season at 17-17 overall record.
