NSAA Announces Social Justice Council

The North Star Athletic Association is proud to announce the creation of the NSAA Social Justice Council. The Council will work to develop a dynamic platform that focuses efforts towards important social topics by building a culture of overall inclusion and equity for all student-athletes across the North Star conference.

In efforts of providing learning opportunities through open and respectful dialogue, the Council will meet monthly to discuss different social topics, talk about ways they can get involved, and focus on how they can listen and respond to the voices of North Star student-athletes.

The Social Justice Council will combine student-athlete involvement along with campus administrators and coaches. The NSAA Social Justice Council is one of the first of its kind in the NAIA, as well as across all of college athletics. Alex Kretzschmar (Assistant Football Coach) and Ronnie Latting (Men’s Basketball) are representatives from Dakota State.
