Dakota State Football swept the weekly NSAA honors in the final week of the regular season, as Tyler Tappe was named offensive, Noah Guse defensive and Caleb Nielsen special teams players of the week, respectively. Tappe tossed a pair of touchdown passes and accounted for just over 100 yards from scrimmage in the 37-28 win over Mayville State. Guse produced two interceptions, including one that was returned for a touchdown, and led the nation with five interceptions this Fall. Nielsen converted all five PAT’s and had four touchbacks on kickoffs. Caleb was 19 for 19 on PATs this season and second in the nation for punt yard average (42.2).

In Women’s Basketball, Savannah Walsdorf was named the player-of-the-week. Guiding the Lady T’s to a 2-1 record, she averaged 18 points per game, 4.7 steals and 3 rebounds. Walsdorf shot 57.5 percent from the floor and 63.6 from downtown. DSU Women’s Basketball is off until their conference opener on Saturday, December 5th versus Bellevue.
