The 2020 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced their Academic All-District teams, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.

Dakota State’s Max Cruse was named to the District 3 First Team for the second year in-a-row. Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District will advance to the Academic All-America ballot. Those who make Academic All-American status will be notified in late June. 

Max Cruse has earned many accolades during his tenure at Dakota State, including his first NAIA All-American status, finishing seventh in the men’s 5,000 meter race, this past March at the National Meet in Brookings.
