The Dakota State Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams will compete today at the National Meet being held at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington. It is the first time in program history that Dakota State will be sending both the men’s and women’s teams to the NAIA national meet in the same year.

It is the first time since 1997 that the Trojan women’s won the conference title and qualified for the nationals.  The Trojan men’s team repeated as the conference champions, their first time since 1989-91 where DSU won three straight conference champion from the former South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference. Head Coach Anthony Drelean talks about the expectations for the teams.

Good luck today to Dakota State Cross Country at the NAIA National Meet!
