Three different Trojans scored 13 points as the DSU women’s basketball team took down NCAA Division III University of Minnesota-Morris. Jessi Giles, Savannah Walsdorf, and Lexi Robson each had 13 as Dakota State won 91-49. The Trojans led by 55 in the third quarter and the defense only gave up 31 points through the first three quarters. Next up for DSU is Bellevue this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Head Coach David Moe said that last season’s exit in the national championship tournament was motivation for the team to get back to the tournament this season.

Coach Moe said the matchups against Bellevue are always fun because of the styles of play by each team.
